Our next PAT is Math Part A on Thursday June 20th.  We will be doing a last practice session on tomorrow (Tuesday).  There are also practice booklets that students can take home before Thursday.

Today in math:  we did problem-solving with inequalities to wrap up the inequalities unit.  This week, we will be reviewing for the Math PATs.  The math PAT will be on Monday June 17th. Science:  Today, we did a quick group poster activity about energy sources.  Each group will present their energy source at the beginning of class tomorrow.

Today in Math, we did a timed mental math test PAT style.  This is to prepare students for the part A mental math PAT happening on June 20th.  We will be doing more practice tests up until the PAT so that students can improve their mental math skills! Science:  We are learning to draw schematic drawings of circuits.  Tomorrow we will be finishing up drawing and then building series and parallel circuits to understand how loads behave in each type of circuit.
